How to Create a Thoughtful Collection of Interior Artwork

A thoughtful interior art collection looks like it took years to build, even when it didn't.

Interior art packages are custom, curated collections I select to fit the specific aesthetic and design narrative of the space they'll live in, whether that's one room or a whole home. I consider budget, space, location, interior design, style, and your goals on every package, and each one gets built uniquely for the space it's going into.

Art and interior design go hand in hand. When you're building out a home, the careful selection of artwork matters as much as any furniture choice, since it reflects your personality, lifestyle, and taste in a way almost nothing else in the room does. The art should complement the furnishings, lighting, and wall coverings you've already chosen, not compete with them. I also partner directly with interior designers and architects on this work, coordinating on style and medium so the art fits the broader design plan they've built for a client.

I build packages for the rooms that matter most: living rooms, dining rooms, primary bedrooms, playrooms, powder rooms, home offices, and everything between, along with larger collections for hospitality, healthcare, and multi-family properties when that's the project.

Interior art packages can include a wide range of substrates: canvas, fine art paper, acrylic, dibond brushed aluminum, wood print, linen, window vinyl, fabric, mirror, glass, plexiglass, and interior or exterior wall facades. Working with local artists and fabrication partners, I can bring almost any style to life: abstract, contemporary, modernism, art deco, art nouveau, expressionism, surrealism, realism, or bauhaus.

Hand embellishments can add depth and detail: metallic finishes, embroidery, screen printing, gold leaf, gel embellishments, and a range of matte, flat, satin, or gloss sealants. Final design decisions cover color palette, saturation, hue, tone, and contrast, down to finishes like monochrome, gradient, or sepia tone.

Framing and hardware options run just as deep: stretched canvas, floater frame, double mat, deckled edge, curated gallery wall, diptych, triptych, shadow box, cable installation, and unorthodox mixed-media framing, among others. I handle the recommendation so you don't have to become a framing expert to get it right.
